Coming Events 2026

We have some great events planned for the coming year including play writing workshops, writing callouts, performances and play readings. Keep your eye on this page as we will be adding to it.

Writing For the Stage Workshops

Why not begin the year by doing something new? Unlock your creative voice in this one‑day theatre writing course. Designed for beginners and open to all levels of ability, this workshop will guide you through the essentials of writing for the stage, beginning with monologues.
We’ll start by building, vivid, believable characters before moving on to how to give your character a voice that feels authentic.
The afternoon session will be dedicated to bringing it all together by creating a short collaborative play of interwoven monologues on the theme of: “Getting Together”

PERFORMANCE- CATCH THIS  GREAT SHOW AGAIN.

Declan Duffy will be performing his great show ‘Call Yourself An Irishman’ in the last week of of January in London.
It is a great show, as anyone who came along to see him as part of Green Curtain Theatre’s offer at the Wandsworth and Liverpool Irish Festivals in 2025 will testify.
Dec is now ‘flying solo’ so check out his webpage for dates, location and booking.
We wish him the very best of luck with everything.
P.S. You’ll need to be quick as Dec’s two shows at the ICC in Hammersmith last autumn sold out quickly.
