Great exhibition of Irish icons on display until 24th July. Why not pop in to see some famous faces including: George Best, Phil Lynott, Shane McGowan, Brendan Behan by Mark Kennedy, famous icon artist. Best of all its FREE.
For more information about each of the icons on display at the centre please visit the ‘Irish Nation Project’. Please note that the following icons are not on view because of space: JFK, Eileen Gray, John Wayne and Bridget O’Donnell.
Viewing times:
Monday–Wednesday and Friday: Afternoons and evenings from 3pm-7pm.
Saturdays & Sundays: Afternoon viewings available. However we advise ringing ahead to ensure the hall isn’t in use for other activities.

Come join us at the South London Irish Centre in Wimbledon as we bring those icons to life as we showcase exciting new writing alongside the Irish songs and tunes you already know and love.
These monologues, created by writers from the Irish diaspora are inspired by Mark Kennedy’s Irish Nation mosaics, featuring beloved Irish icons such as Sinéad O’Connor, Luke Kelly, Shane MacGowan, James Joyce, Brendan Behan, Katie Taylor, George Best, and Constance Markievicz.
It promises to be a brilliant night.
