The Woven Dream – Video

The Woven Dream depicts the lives of three strong women whose fates are closely interwoven with Terence MacSwiney’s own – his proud and loyal wife, Muriel, born into wealth and privilege; her Pro-British, Unionist mother Mary; and Geraldine O’Sullivan, Muriel’s close friend and fellow republican activist. The playwright has used original source material and imagined interior monologues to illuminate this crucial moment in Irish history in a moving and effective way.
